| Sign for Peace a project by Claus Miller “Sign for Peace” is an invitation to reflect on human identity through art. The fingerprint, like DNA, is a genuine and unique sign of human identity. It has no racial, social or linguistic barriers. It is a sign that defines our diversity and, at the same time, unites in a form apparently equal and identical. This project transforms famous prints into artworks. It is an invitation to all of us to leave a testimony for peace to the world. The exhibition shows fingerprint-portraits of Nobel laureates, scientists, authors, artists and sportspeople as a Sign for Peace. Futhermore UNICEF are coordinating a collection of “Signs for Peace” of Youth and Children from all over the world. |
